Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our consulting engagements, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the choices available to you.

Who we are
Gaucr Consulting Services is the trading name of Bask Associates Private Limited, a company incorporated in India with its office at B2, 108, Niharika Exotica, Lanco Hills Road, Next to Aparna Westside, Hyderabad, Telangana 500104. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that company. We act as the data fiduciary in respect of the personal data described below.
We take a deliberately narrow approach to personal data. We collect what we need in order to respond to you and to deliver the services you have engaged us for, and nothing beyond that.
What information we collect
When you complete the enquiry form on this website, we collect the following information, all of which you provide voluntarily:
- Name — so that we can address our reply to the right person.
- Email address — our primary channel for responding to enquiries.
- Phone number — used where a conversation is quicker than an email exchange.
- Service of interest — so that your enquiry reaches the consultant best placed to answer it.
- Your message — the description of the challenge or requirement you wish to discuss.
If you contact us by telephone, email or WhatsApp instead, we hold whatever contact details and correspondence arise from that exchange. If you become a client, we additionally hold engagement-related information such as billing details, participant lists for training programmes and any assessment or feedback data generated during delivery.
Our enquiry form includes a hidden anti-spam field. It is never shown to you, is not part of your submission, and exists solely to identify automated bot traffic.
How we use your information
We use the personal data we collect only for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiry and to arrange an initial consultation.
- To prepare proposals, scopes of work and commercial estimates at your request.
- To deliver, administer and evaluate the consulting, training or certification services you have engaged us for.
- To issue invoices and maintain the accounting and tax records that Indian law requires us to keep.
- To send occasional updates about our services, where you have asked to receive them.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not rent, trade or otherwise make it available to third parties for their own marketing purposes, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Lawful basis for processing
We process enquiry data on the basis of your consent, which you give by voluntarily submitting the form. Where you become a client, we process data because it is necessary for the performance of our contract with you. We also process a limited set of data to comply with our legal obligations, principally in relation to taxation and statutory record keeping. You may withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time without affecting our ability to deliver a live engagement.
How long we keep your information
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are retained for up to twenty-four months from the date of your last contact with us, after which they are deleted. This period allows us to pick up a conversation that resumes after a gap without asking you to repeat yourself.
Records relating to a live or completed client engagement are retained for the duration of the engagement and for a period of up to eight years thereafter, in line with Indian accounting, contractual and tax record keeping requirements. Training participant data is retained only for as long as is needed to issue certificates and complete post-programme evaluation, unless the client instructs otherwise.
Third parties and service providers
We rely on a small number of established service providers to operate our business. These include our website hosting provider, our email and business productivity provider, and where applicable our accounting and payment processing partners. Certification programmes delivered through our KnowEle practice may require us to share participant names and examination details with the relevant certification body in order to issue a valid credential.
These providers process data only on our instructions and only to the extent necessary to supply their service to us. We do not disclose your personal data to any other party except where we are required to do so by law, by a court of competent jurisdiction, or by a regulatory authority acting within its powers.
Cookies and website analytics
This website is built as a set of static pages and does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Your browser may store strictly necessary information locally to remember interface preferences, such as whether you have dismissed a notice. This information stays in your browser and is not transmitted to us.
Certain pages embed a Google Maps frame so that you can locate our office. When that frame loads, Google may set cookies and receive technical information such as your IP address, in accordance with its own privacy policy. If you would prefer to avoid this, you can view our address in text form on the contact page without interacting with the map.
Data security
This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to enquiry data and client records is restricted to the consultants who need it to do their work, and is protected by account-level authentication on our business systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we review our arrangements periodically and act promptly if a weakness is identified.
Please avoid sending sensitive personal information, financial account details or confidential commercial documents through the website enquiry form. Once we are in contact we can agree a more appropriate channel.
Your rights
You may, at any time, ask us to:
- Confirm whether we hold personal data about you, and provide a copy of it.
- Correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
- Erase your personal data, where we are not required by law or by a live contract to retain it.
- Stop using your data for marketing communications.
- Withdraw a consent you previously gave us.
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.
We will acknowledge a request within a reasonable period and respond substantively within thirty days. We may need to verify your identity before acting, which protects you as much as it protects us. There is no charge for making a request.
Children
Our services are directed at organisations and working professionals. This website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of eighteen. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The date at the top of this page always indicates when the current version took effect. Where a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to the attention of clients with a live engagement.
